Summer ROLL BACK

Summer has officially arrived. The weather is ripe, the air is thick, and the lemonade is chilled... We've been spending time soaking in the sun, lingering in places extra long, and lots of laughter. With summer here, it is essential to smell the roses and skip in the grass. After a long winter, we're lacking natural supplements, summer is the perfect opportunity to absorb that. Another natural way of getting serotonin and endorphins to release are the movies...

After a long day at the beach, lake, or maybe a hike; freshen up with a movie. We have many favourites specifically for summer. Summer requires adventure and experience. Open a bottle of red wine, and cook burgers or pasta, and chill out! Don't take that too literally though. Ways to juice up your movie nights can including putting a projector outside. Even adding additional lights or your personal touch, can help create the perfect "sunset evening". Ordering out is an easy way to avoid dishes, and have killer leftovers. Having variety is key to moviethons; it's an easy way to enjoy the space without having to move around. Finally, don't forget a S'mores bar! S'mores are great for bringing people together.

Introducing simple things into your weekly regime spices up evening plans. You can enjoy from the luxury of your sofa too. It's important to prioritise down time in the summer. Restoring your energy can look different for everyone. Listen to your body and what it clings too. Maybe a 5K? Or a mani & pedi.

One universal thing we all share are movies. They bring us back from a state of mind; bring laughter into quite places, and tickle the heart a little too much. We believe there are certain movies for specific seasons.

These are some of our favourites... BUT the summer edition. This curated list of oldies, classics, and youthful adaptions of todays modern lifestyles. These films offer a series of feelings, that leave a summer mystique behind. Become enamoured with different universes, ranging from Nancy Meyers', Something's Gotta Give to Jeff Kanew's, Troop Beverly Hills... There's something for everyone. Try giving these films a shot and see what you think of them. It's hard to avoid feeling sun kissed after watching one, but watching them all... you might be singing in your sleep later.
