IPOD Nano Roulette

I cannot and will not go anywhere without my IPOD nano... Currently I am in a non platonic relationship with my miniature sound machine. When it first released I had a handful of them ranging in colours, but with time it faded into the past. It wasn't till the other day, when I saw someone with one that influenced me to consider repurchasing.

Obviously like every other piece of "retro technology" my attention was caught... But is it fair to consider an IPOD Nano as a retro electronic ? Either way, it's still in the relic category. After the easy search online, this past-time nostalgia was mine.

When my purple nano arrived I was manic. An identity crisis was laid on thick. Immediately, I felt like I time traveled to the early 2000's, giving every bit of Lizzie McGuire... with ChampagnePapi seasoning on the side. The experience continues to be transformative and euphoric, but there are downsides. The first being the lack of technology advancement... to put it simpler there is absolutely no apple music. IF you're a quick thinker you can only imagine what a nightmare this was for me when I had to completely purchase the entire catalog of my music; willing be if I wanted it on this little f***** .

So, I did what any Scorpio would do and persuade with my plan? Three tedious days later, and everything was downloaded. It's a cute idea, but not practical for many. The camera on the back gives it flair but it's truly not realistic. Hopefully in the future Apple will revisit this and modernize it. Starting with new everything from headphone jaxs to chargers, but til then I'm satisfied. That extra pep in my step is there.
